Yesterday we walked out of a store and there was a white car that looked similar to mine pulling out of a parking stall. Maya yelled, "Mommy, people driving your car!" She continued, "Stop! Wait! People driving your car. Mommy, look! People driving your car! Come back! Stop! Wait!" and the final threat was, "TIME-OUT!" I was rolling with laughter! She really thought those people were taking my car and when they wouldn't stop or wait, she was putting them in time-out. I hurried over to our car to show her that they hadn't taken our car, but she continued to talk about the people that drove our car all day long (even after her nap). She is too smart!
Last night Jer and Maya picked weeds in the backyard and then Maya swam in her little pool. There was no time to grab a swimsuit - she jumped right in with clothes on and all! (The reason the grass is so long is that our NEW lawnmower broke - grrrr)
