We had a great Easter last weekend.
First, we went to church.
It was an especially exciting week because Nana and Aunt Tiffany came into town for their Spring Break.
Then it was time for the big Easter Egg Hunt.
The rest of the week was spent hanging out and having fun with our visitors.
These 3 look so much alike.
A new temple is being built in Gilbert so on a recent Sunday evening we took a trip to see the construction.
Our friends, the Bashfords, were also randomly there so the kids got to check it out together.
Maya has started going to a swim bootcamp.
Kenyon has started T ball.
(Weeknight games at 7:00 pm go past his bedtime and he looks like he might fall asleep in the outfield!)
Devin is my big helper around the house and can even carry my full laundry baskets downstairs for me
He also decided to be potty trained and is doing amazing - only 1 kid in diapers hasn't happened in a LONG time.
As for Owen, he keeps on being cuter and cuter everyday...
And tries to catch a nap while we run, run, run the other kids around!
Life is really good!
For the last year Kenyon has talked about having a Halloween Party for his birthday. Since his birthday falls on April Fools, anything goes and he got his wish for a Halloween Party complete with costumes, a pinata, bounce house, Halloween cupcakes and party favors. We had the party Friday night and then today for his "real birthday" he had candles in his favorite breakfast - German pancakes.
Kenyon has grown up so much recently and I can tell he is getting ready for Kindergarten in the Fall. Him and I laugh all day long at funny thing the babies do. He is so sweet with Owen and loves to make Devin scream and yell. I guess that's what big brothers do best!
Today I was telling him how happy I am that he joined our family 5 years ago and he said, "Mom, if you didn't pick me, you wouldn't have joy and happiness and you would have to buy a different brother." :) He got one thing right - life wouldn't be the same without our Kenyon! Happy Birthday buddy!
