Brotherly Love

These 2 have started playing together lately... as much playing as a 6 month old and 3 year old can do.

The other day it involved Kenyon setting up the animals and Devin knocking them down. Kenyon would giggle and giggle.

Going on

This kid is walking

This one got his 1st tooth

These 2 started "Summer School" today, taught by yours truly. This week the theme is Magnets. Hoping I can keep it up all summer, but only time will tell.

Big things happening 'round here!

Maya

Tomorrow she graduates from preschool! How did this happen so fast.

These were taken at their Preschool Spring Recital. She was the cutest cowgirl I have seen. This year has been full of lots of acting and singing and she has eaten it up!

Here she is with her friend Destany at a recent park playdate. These two crack me up with their posing. Two girls FULL of personality!

People ask why I am not putting her in all day Kindergarten. As a teacher, I always thought I would, but as a parent, I can't have her gone that long. Besides... who would feed the babies?!

Love you Maya!

Water Time!

The warmer weather is here and we have started swim lessons and water fun in the backyard. Hope they don't get burnt out... we have the LOOOOOOONG summer ahead.

10:00 pm on Saturday night:

Jeremy: "What would you like for Mother's day?" (2 hours before Mother's Day begins)

Me: "Just serve me all day."

10:00 am on Sunday morning:

Jeremy: (As he changes poopy diaper #5 for the morning) "I hate Mother's Day!"

Maya: "I don't know why Dad doesn't like Mother's Day. I wish every day was Mother's Day."

Me too, Maya. Me too. Especially when Maya writes me poems that say, "If you were a berry, I'd pick you."

I think Jeremy is wishing I'd have asked for flowers or something less messy than service.

Happy Mother's Day from one lucky Mama to another!

Today

His Big Brother and Big Sister are constantly mauling him.

I think he secretly loves it.

Speaking of Big... this Big Boy is almost completely potty trained. No accidents (day or night!) for a couple of days and he goes in on his own, without my reminders or help. Let's not talk about how I bribed him with opening a present every time he went and now he thinks he still gets one EVERY TIME! Prayers are answered!
