Happy Birthday to Owen

On February 21st, Owen turned 2! He had such a fun day! He was singing "Happy Birthday to Owen" all day long - even in his bed when he woke up from his nap!

We started the day off with sprinkle pancakes with candles

That night we went to Chuck E. Cheese's with Grandpa Tony (who was fun to have in town!), Grandma Bev, and Kellen and Camille and their kiddos. He loved riding all of the little rides.

He especially loved dancing with Chuck E. and couldn't stop giggling the entire time.

This kid loves to eat and knocked down several pieces of pizza before getting to presents and cupcakes.

The highlight of the night was the "ticket blaster." It blows up air and tickets and they are supposed to catch tickets. Kenyon attempted to catch tickets, but all Owen did was laugh...

And laugh...

And laugh some more!

Owen loves life and is constantly laughing! He is such a joy to our family. He finds happiness in anything we are doing. The other kids are constantly entertained by Owen. He loves to run and play at the park, ride his bike around and around the house, jump on the trampoline or cuddle up and watch a movie. His favorite movie is the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He constantly asks, "More oo-ah please." He is throwing some terrible two tantrums, but is still pretty mellow tempered even so. So thankful he is in our family. Happy Birthday Owee!

Maya's Big Day

Today was Maya's special baptism day. It was a beautiful day and we are so proud of her and her sweet spirit.

Picture taken by Devin while at the church...

Maya made sure everyone knew to come to the "after party" at our house.

Everyone had a fun time playing and chatting. Sad I didn't get any pictures of my grandparents, Great Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson or my parents with Maya. We were happy they all made it!

Maya's Birthday

On February 3rd, Maya turned 8 years old. Here are some of my favorite recent photos of her!

Not happy with her temporary hair do until I could braid it the next morning!

Off to hip hop class!

That's a lollipop in her mouth... :)

Lost more teeth this last year!

We had birthday weekend to celebrate. On Friday we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum and then to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

On Sunday, her actual birthday, she had sprinkle pancakes, opened presents and then got to celebrate her birthday while watching the Super Bowl.

Monday night we had family over for another birthday gathering, but I failed to take pics. Spoiled, blessed little girl!

We are so blessed to have Maya in our family. Each year I reflect on how much happiness she has brought to us. She is an amazing big sister to all of these brothers and still asks for more siblings, which is shocking! Maya has a great sense of humor and brightens our days. She has chosen to be baptized at church on Saturday and we are so proud of her and looking forward to that big day. Love our Maya!
