No More Cage

Maya has been removed from her cage. You may remember from a post a couple of months back that when Maya started crawling out of her crib and wasn't ready for a big girl bed yet, we bought a crib tent and "caged" her in. Well we decided to buy a toddler bed and set it up in her room. We would try putting her in it for naps and bedtime and if she came out, then she had to go in her crib. For nap and bedtime today, she went to sleep in her "big girl bed." We are hoping she stays in it all night and we don't have a visitor in our room in the middle of the night. I guess that is the beauty of still having her crib set up - she would go right to her crib! In addition to sleeping in a big girl bed, potty training is going great. She is still having accidents, but overall I am very pleased with her success. My baby girl is no more!
