Today didn't go as expected in the Florida courthouse. The TPR (termination of parental rights) was granted, but shortly after, the birthfather's attorney showed up to file a notice of appearance. What does this mean? There will now be another hearing to determine if the birthfather has a case to go to trial. Basically, it means that now there will most likely be a trial that we have to attend in Florida in several months. Financially, this is horrible for us, but we continue to have faith and feel that we need to go forward for Kenyon's sake. I will keep you posted.
